IUSPA Journal Selection 2010: Timeline

Monday, September 13th: IUSPA General Assembly; election schedule/positions announced.

Friday, October 1st: Co-Editor applications due by 5:00pm (see below for more information. Email as attachments to Mark Houlemarde.

Friday, October 8th: Co-Editor selected and offered position.

Monday, November 8th, 8:30pm: IUSPA 2010-2011 Executive Board announced.

Monday, November 15th, 8:30pm: IUSPA Transition Meeting.

IUSPA Co-Editor Description
• Oversee the design, production, and distribution of the Journal
• Facilitate IUSPA Journal review board selection process and solicit IUSPA Journal submissions
• This is a 2-year commitment! The 1st year co-editor serves as the 2nd-year co editor the following year ☺

IUSPA Co-Editor Application
• 1-pg statement on applicant’s qualifications for and interest in serving as the co-editor
• Academic Writing Sample where applicant is the lone author (e.g. an issue paper)

IUSPA Review Board Member Selection Process
Review Board Members read, edit, and select the submissions to be included in the Journal

Monday, November 15th: Email Mark by 7pm if you are interested in serving on the Review Board

Monday, November 22nd, by 5:00 pm: Email Mark a short paragraph of no more than 300 words relaying why you would like to serve on the Review Board and why you would be a good choice.
Note: Newly-elected IUSPA Executive Board Members will not be able to serve on the Review Board.

Friday, November 26th: Notification to applicants on selection to serve on Review Board
